Location: Anchor Building, The Heart of Newhaven, Edinburgh
Date/time: 6-9.30pm, Thursday 27 November
Join me for a festive evening playing with paper, while sipping a mulled punch in good company. I’ll bring lots of lovely remnant materials for us to work with and there will be an opportunity to try your hand at a range of upcycled book inspired projects!
Have a go at making your own needle books, mini journals, star books and fold & stitch Christmas decorations. There will be different creative stations for you to move around on the night depending on what you want to make – think speed dating but with craft and at a more leisurely pace!
You’ll leave the workshop with a collection of DIY gifts and decorations that are not only unique but sustainable, diverting materials, including old Christmas cards, remnant leather and wrapping paper, from landfill. Following the workshop you will get access to video instructions so you can continue making at home in the run up to Christmas.
Mulled punch and sweet treats included. Please feel free to bring along something more substantial to eat if coming straight from work.
Accessibility: the workshop space is on the ground floor with accessible toilet in the adjacent building. If you have access requirements, please get in touch asap so I can support where needed.
Booking/cancellation policy: I need a minimum of 4 people to cover costs and go a-head with this workshop, you will be given advanced warning is the class needs to be cancelled and offered the option to transfer your place to a future workshop or receive a refund. Once you have booked a place, if you are no longer able attend you will be given the option to transfer to a future class but a refund will not be possible.
