This is a great bookbinding stitch to master – a way of creating unique and usable journals and sketchbooks.

In the workshop I will show you how to incorporate decorative remnant and vintage papers into your book, experiment with stitch variations and introduce a range of fastening techniques.

I will share tips and advice for working with low-cost remnant and recycled materials including recommendations on where to source materials. Bookbinding toolkits will also be available to buy at the end of the workshop.

You’ll leave the workshop with a 60 page A6 journal with heavy duty pages (perfect for note taking, sketching and watercolour), durable leather or pleather cover and video instructions to remind you of the process should you want to make more at home.

All materials are provided but you are welcome to bring your own decorative papers to incorporate into your book.
