How this course is taught?
Materials
The accompanying kit for this workshops includes all the basic materials you need to make an A7 size book with five stitched signatures, just add your own selection of decorative papers –
- Grey board for book covers
- Recycled cartridge paper cut to size for your signatures
- A sheet of thick paper for the spine of your book
- A mix of coloured threads for stitching your signatures
- Paper tags and stickers to include in your book
- 1.5mm round elastic to fasten your book
- UHU glue
- Double sided adhesive sheet
You will need to source your own:
- Paper ephemera to include in your book, this could include wrapping paper, leaflets, maps, photos, postcards etc
- There is also the option to incorporate fabric into the cover of your book – thin cotton fabric works best
